Travis Goldman - Clerk
Travis Goldman made his own stop-motion films before the age of 10. He used toy cars, action figures, and a small Godzilla model to make his first films. He first experienced the excitement of a great theater experience in 1990, when his father took him on opening night to Total Recall. The intensity and the violence of the film, combined with a raucous audience captivated him. He wanted to produce that effect on others. Travis co-authored a humor book with his friend that Time-Warner published in 1999. He did several radio interviews, and the book was published in nine countries in six languages.
After working for ESPN Radio for a year, Travis went back to his first love and completed an intensive film production course at New York University in the spring of 2004. He wrote, produced, directed and edited a 10 minute film shot on 16 mm color, with sync-sound. He also crewed on four other student films.
Shortly after, he was a production assistant on an independent feature film, and then worked on a PSA, a short film, and a CBS television show, Wickedly Perfect. He also completed a feature-length script that he hopes to sell, or produce himself one day.
Travis is currently working on his own short that he will enter in film festivals this year.
